When:
FOR HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL: Monday February 9th from 3pm-5pm (Choreo/Reading Audition)
Tuesday February 10th from 3pm-5pm (Vocal Audition)
FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Monday February 9th from 5:30-7pm (Choreo AND Vocal Audition)
Where:
Wheeler High School Auditorium (587 W 300 N, Valparaiso, IN 46385)
Who:
Any Union Township Student interested in performing on or back stage!
What:
For Vocal Auditions: Please come prepared with a song of your choice. Choose a song that showcases your voice. You will not sing the entire song, so prepare the part that you feel shows off your vocal skill
For Choreo Auditions: Please make sure to wear loose or flexible clothes to be able to move and dance in. No sandals, no bare or socked feet, shoes MUST be worn. You will be taught a portion of a dance and perform in small groups for the auditions.
For Reading Auditions: You will read roles from scenes in the show assigned to you at auditions. Please come prepared to read.
Rehearsal Schedule: We will rehearse Monday - Thursday from 3pm-5pm. We will have a detailed schedule at auditions. Not all actors will be called everyday, but we will need almost everyone through the most of March and through April.
ELEMENTARY - Your rehearsal schedule is different: You will rehearse once a week for the first month or so, and then you will have more rehearsals. Again, a detailed schedule will be available at auditions.
The production will run April 24th and 25th at 7pm and April 26th at 2pm.
(THE WEEK OF REHEARSAL BEFORE THE SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY; NO EXCEPTIONS. THAT REHEARSAL WILL RUN FROM 5PM UNTIL 9:30PM, ELEMENTARY WILL BE ABLE TO LEAVE AT INTERMISSION DURING THE TECH WEEK REHEARSALS. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO BE THERE; PLEASE AVOID AUDITIONING)
